update on scott pt 2

to those that care...

I've been busy as per usual, studying the history of the Corps.

Benjiro has helped me to memorise the basics, and now i must develop that knowledge.

Learning never ends...

When i'm not doing that, i'll be working or training.

Today i worked 6 hours.

This is the first time i've stopped all day.

haha...

Just got back from Fitness First in basildon. Sam, Hannah...ect you've got a bloody lovely gym there.

Did the PJFT under the time limit - so as to get used to the machine, now i just have to do it tomorrow at 11.00 am.

So think lucky thoughts around then.

When i pass that, i wait to hear for a PRMC date.

To those non-marine-knowledgers...the PRMC is the final stage, and is very hard.

I go to Lympstone for three days and am pushed to my limits both physically and mentally. On the last day, they'll let me know.

Well, that's about all.

Thanks to everyone for the support, the messages asking how i am...ect.

It's nice to know people still care, even after they're not forced to see me everyday.

Cheers guys.

Marines.

Yes - i'm aware this was my bulletin.
But i can't be bothered to summise it in a more chatty Blog format.
So deal with it.

Hey guys!
If i haven't seen/talking to you in a while, i'm sorry!

I've been awfully busy, with what? i hear you cry.

Training.

:-)

I ran 6 miles in 45 minutes the other day, a personal best.

And in two months since i struggled to do two lengths of 25 - i managed a kilometer on tuesday. Thats right, 40 lengths baby.

In the Application process-

Today i had an interview and medical...
The interview went great and my AFCO guy - John, said he'd promised that he was never going to let another 16 year old apply for the Marines PRMC (potential royal marines course), after his last kid flunked week 15.

BUT HE CHANGED HIS MINDDD.

:)

Medical.

Everything you've read/seen/heard about HM Forces Medicals is true.

It wasn't the nicest experience, if i'm to be honest. But it's done now.

Just one more stage left before the last, PRMC.

Sorry for the essay.

Just thought i'd let you know.

Saving Private Woods

My trusted friend Ben Paul is but a small cross bred dog's length away from me watching that lovely film, saving private Ryan.

On a short personal note, it's been a tough few days. I've felt slightly down, and have been getting several pains in my lower leg and knee. It's been hard to train therefore.
But as of monday, a serious level of work is coming into play.
I feel ready.

X factor was good with sky plus, meaning i could fastforward most things.
Diana was lovely.
:-)

I read today, that a navy watchman fell asleep watching over the HMS Cornwall.
I'd've been really miffed if they'd actually layed him off for what was clearly an over worked seaman.

Still i'd be more miffed if he'd slept and not alerted the ship to danger, especially if i was on it.

Poor blog today, i'm tired.
And i've training tomorrow.
LAST late night for a while.

Ciao.

Ah,,,Blogger

Blogging.
The mysterious art of writing to an unknown audience, with the generic aim of pleasing all and relieving yourself.

Not urinating, just making yourself feel better about putting the days events and novel moments - in some sort of an order.

I've twiddle-twaddled on for far too long now, i apologise.
Today was an interesting day, i actually enjoyed the time i spent at work...and then really stuck it to my circuit training.

That all i hear you say?
Well yes...pretty much, and i did some stuff around the house.

A few days ago, the MOD released a large number of documents and reports relating to UFO's inbetween 1986 and 1992.
Anyone but me think this could ONLY be some sort of Scapegoat for something much larger happening?
Perhaps to get news away from that hard drive that got stolen? The one with information of millions of military workers and interested applicants - what's amusing, is I submitted my details long before that got stolen.
There could be a "Mr S.J Woods" impersonating me right now!

I should stop drawing attention to a possible maneuver of my future employers.

UFO's?
Interesting.

Anyway, Ciao.
^_^
